Battle Arms Workhorse Patrol Carbine 16in 5.56 NATO AR Rifle - Combat Gray
The BATTLEARMS WORKHORSE series of firearms are built for duty and hard use in mind. It is purpose-built around the forged BAD-15 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum receiver and free-float rail handguard with M-LOK attachment point at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. At 12 o’clock is a full-length Picatinny accessory rail with our signature notch cut matching the upper receiver. Every firearm is equipped with a 4150 chrome-moly steel black nitride barrel for durability and accuracy. Each barrel is individually head-spaced with matching Carpenter 158 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier for ultimate reliability and ease of cleaning. Rifle models utilize a mid-length gas system for reliable and smooth cycling action while reducing recoil and minimizing wear. In a class of its own, every WORKHORSE is outfitted with a new industry standard-setting RACK ambidextrous charging handle with monolithic handle and smooth side sliding latch that is built to take abuse. Look a bit more closely and you will find this duty line of rifles are not so “plain jane”. It is loaded with numerous enhanced components such as a smooth nickel Teflon trigger, enhanced magazine release, enhanced take-down/pivot pins for easy tool-less breakdown, one-piece magazine catch, billet trigger guard, enhanced bolt catch, user-adjustable three-position pistol grip, and enhanced single side safety or the latest BAD-ASS-PRO ambidextrous safety selector with a virtually unbreakable lever attachment mechanism. The Super Duty Rifle features the latest in weapon technology available exclusively from Geissele Automatics. This 14.5” rifle chambered in 5.56mm features a Nanoweapon coated Surefire Closed-Tine Flash Hider mounted to an in-house 14.5” durable black oxide coated, Cold Hammer Forge, Chrome Lined, 1-7 twist Geissele barrel. Our barrels are precision machined and cold hammer forged utilizing the highest quality materials at our state of the art facility in North Wales, PA. Exclusive to the Super Duty 14.5” Rifle is the brand new SSA-E X with Lightning Bow® trigger. This nanocoated, two-stage trigger features a wide body and bow shape that finds the perfect balance between a classic M4 trigger and a flat body trigger. At the heart of this rifle is the Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. This Nanoweapon coated BCG features a properly torqued and staked, chrome lined gas key.
