The Thunder Ranch product line is a joint venture between Aero Precision and Thunder Ranch. Aimed to achieve Clint Smith’s ideal purpose built “Ultimate Carbine”, these products include key features requested from Clint Smith himself but with an Aero Precision flare. Like everything surrounding the Thunder Ranch name, you get exactly what you need – nothing more and nothing less. Includes: M4E1 Special Edition Thunder Ranch Lower Receiver in FDE Cerakote M4E1 Special Edition Thunder Ranch Threaded Assembled Upper Receiver in FDE Cerakote M4E1 Lower Receiver Features: Skeletonized Magwell – Cuts weight and provides a unique look for our M4E1 Lower Receivers. Threaded Bolt Catch Roll Pin – Allows for simple installation of the bolt catch and virtually eliminates the chance to damage the finish during installation (pin included). Integrated Trigger Guard – Eliminates the possibility of breaking the trigger guard tabs by integrating the trigger guard into the lower, creating a stronger more rigid platform to build upon. Upper Tension Screw – Allows users to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver using a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR15 upper receiver. Threaded Takedown Pin Detent Recess – Allows user to easily install the Takedown Pin detent and spring with the use of a 4-40 set screw (no more launching detents across the room). Increased Magwell Flare – Increased the flare of the magwell to aid in quick and efficient magazine changes. The San Tan Tactical STT-15 Pillar Billet Receiver Set was designed from the ground up to be truly ambidextrous without making any compromises. Machined out of a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum on state-of-the-art CNC machinery. This allows for a greater degree of precision for extremely tight tolerances and additional features like lightening cuts to reduce weight and an enlarged magazine well and trigger guard. Whether you are right or left handed or the situation requires you to shoot with your off-hand, a rifle built on this receiver set won’t hold you back. Machined right into the lower receiver are bolt and magazine release buttons on each side giving you better control over your rifle without needing to add aftermarket parts. The STT-15 billet AR-15 receiver set from San Tan Tactical offers uncompromising performance, so you can build the rifle you need. Compatible with all Mil-Spec components like a trigger with .154” pin diameters and ambidextrous safety selectors. However, the upper receiver comes fully assembled with a dust cover and forward assist. Just thrown in your favorite ambidextrous charging handle and you have a rifle that doesn’t discriminate against lefties.
