Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Assembled Receiver Set, Special Edition: Thunder Ranch - FDE Cerakote
The Thunder Ranch product line is a joint venture between Aero Precision and Thunder Ranch. Aimed to achieve Clint Smith’s ideal purpose built “Ultimate Carbine”, these products include key features requested from Clint Smith himself but with an Aero Precision flare. Like everything surrounding the Thunder Ranch name, you get exactly what you need – nothing more and nothing less. Includes: M4E1 Special Edition Thunder Ranch Lower Receiver in FDE Cerakote M4E1 Special Edition Thunder Ranch Threaded Assembled Upper Receiver in FDE Cerakote M4E1 Lower Receiver Features: Skeletonized Magwell – Cuts weight and provides a unique look for our M4E1 Lower Receivers. Threaded Bolt Catch Roll Pin – Allows for simple installation of the bolt catch and virtually eliminates the chance to damage the finish during installation (pin included). Integrated Trigger Guard – Eliminates the possibility of breaking the trigger guard tabs by integrating the trigger guard into the lower, creating a stronger more rigid platform to build upon. Upper Tension Screw – Allows users to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver using a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR15 upper receiver. Threaded Takedown Pin Detent Recess – Allows user to easily install the Takedown Pin detent and spring with the use of a 4-40 set screw (no more launching detents across the room). Increased Magwell Flare – Increased the flare of the magwell to aid in quick and efficient magazine changes. Designed by Bill Wilson and the Wilson Combat design team to be the base for the ultimate precision tactical AR-15 rifle, the BILLet-AR matched upper and lower receiver set is 100% machined in our Berryville, AR facility. The Wilson Combat BILLet-AR receiver set was engineered from the ground up to address structural design weaknesses in standard USGI receivers and enhance overall tolerances which improve shot to shot consistency. The BILLet-AR upper receiver has a precise bolt raceway for smoother chambering and more rigid receiver walls to reduce firing flex. The BILLet-AR lower receiver has been enhanced with an oversize magazine well for smooth reloads and an integral trigger guard for gloved use and added lower receiver strength. Our extensive experience as a premier custom builder of AR-15 rifles will ensure your satisfaction with this next generation precision tactical shooting platform. CNC machined from 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum billet stock. Picatinny top rail. Shell deflector. M4-style extended feed ramps for excellent reliability with a wide variety of calibers.
