The BATTLEARMS AUTHORITY series of firearms are designed from the ground up and purpose-built as the next generation AR-15. The heart of the rifle is the billet BAD556 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum receiver with integral ambidextrous controls and free-float rail handguard with M-LOK attachment points at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. At 12 o’clock is a full-length Picatinny accessory rail with our signature notch cut matching the upper receiver. Every firearm is equipped with a 4150 chrome-moly steel black nitride barrel for durability and accuracy. Each barrel is individually head-spaced with matching 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier for ultimate reliability and ease of cleaning. Rifle models utilize a mid-length gas system for reliable and smooth cycling action while reducing recoil and minimizing wear. The original Honey Badger was developed at AAC by previous owner and Q Founder, Kevin Brittingham and his R&D team at the request of an elite US special operations group looking to replace their MP5-SD’s with an upgraded platform. Requirements included the ability to shoot a rifle caliber round while maintaining low visibility and excellent signature suppression. Developed in conjunction with 300 AAC Blackout, the Honey Badger was born, exceeded expectations, but never made it to the commercial market. Enter the Honey Badger by Q. At first glance, this Honey Badger appears to be the same as the original. Q focused on taking the iconic ‘Badger to the next level and improved upon every technical aspect of the first-generation design.
