Precision machined to exacting tolerances with a host of upgrades over standard receivers, the GGP MKII Billet AR-15 receiver set is the ideal way to start your build. Features: Precision machined to within +/- 0.001″ tolerances Cut from high strength 7075-T6 aluminum billet Hardcoat anodized black finish with 60 Rockwell surface hardness Integrated ambidextrous bolt release Flared magazine well for faster reloads Pictographic Fire and Safe indicators Multi-caliber lower marking Integral trigger guard Threaded takedown pin hole with set screw Threaded bolt catch pin Nylon-tipped receiver tension screw A proper MIL-SPEC lower receiver’s dimensions can vary over .005″ or more from one receiver to the next. This is fine for a military rifle, but these tolerances can stack up, impacting parts compatibility, fit, and function, especially when using aftermarket components. By comparison, the MKII Billet AR-15 receiver set is machined to exceptionally tight +/- 0.001″ tolerances, allowing for incredible consistency. To further increase accuracy this lower features a nylon tipped tension screw, ensuring your upper and lower fit together without rattle. For enhanced convenience, the bolt catch and takedown pin are threaded for fast and easy installation. Even better, the lower is machined for an ambidextrous bolt catch release. The Wilson Combat BILLet-AR receiver set was engineered from the ground up to address structural design weaknesses in standard USGI receivers and enhance overall tolerances which improve shot to shot consistency.
