This 16” rifle chambered in 5.56mm features a Nanoweapon coated Surefire Closed-Tine Flash Hider mounted to an in-house 16” durable black oxide coated, Cold Hammer Forge, Chrome Lined, 1-7 twist Geissele barrel. Our barrels are precision machined and cold hammer forged utilizing the highest quality materials. Exclusive to the Super Duty 16” Rifle is the brand new SSA-E X with Lightning Bow® trigger. This nanocoated, two-stage trigger features a wide body and bow shape that finds the perfect balance between a classic M4 trigger and a flat body trigger. At the heart of this rifle is the Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. Sig Sauer is pleased to announce the expansion of the M400 TREAD series of rifles with the introduction of the M400 TREAD SNAKEBITE SE. The new TREAD Snakebite SE offers the same features of the amazing TREAD Snakebite model with some added upgrades. The unique Flashhider/Compensator combo provides minimal flash and reduced muzzle rise, a two-stage Matchlite trigger delivers an ultralight trigger pull for increased accuracy and the Cerakote finished receivers and barrels offer maximum protection. And like all TREAD models, the Snakebite SE works with the complete line of TREAD accessories.
