The Aero Precision Mil-Spec AR-15 Carbine Buffer Kit comes with everything you need to mount a stock on your rifle. The buffer tube is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and features a durable Melonite finish. This Carbine receiver extension features 6 positions of adjustment for your favorite collapsible stock allowing you to customize to your length of pull. It features Mil-Spec dimensions for a tight, rattle-free fitment with most carbine stocks. Includes the heavier H3 buffer weight to reduce felt recoil on overgassed, suppressed, or short barreled rifles. Features: H3 buffer weight Mil-Spec end plate and castle nut Carbine spring Mil-Spec dimensions Compatible with AR-15 and AR-10 receivers Proper thread depth Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum 6 position Made in the U.S.A. Aero Precision makes some extremely high quality parts for the money. This buffer kit is not the cheapest, but you will. You won't regret buying it. Glad they offer an H3 Kit, since the carbine buffers just end up in a box. The enhanced buffer kit has a few minor changes, but this is generally all you need.

Plan to use this to build my AR Pistol. This finish of this buffer kit is very smooth and clean. The castle nut has notch for staking as well.

This setup makes my 7.62x39 AR run so much smoother than it did before. I'm extremely happy with it. My only complaint is that my Magpul stock has a little bit more play than I would like, but I'll shim that and live happily.
