About Aero Precision AR-15 Enhanced Carbine Buffer Kit w/ Carbine Buffer - APRH101240
The AR15 Enhanced Carbine Buffer Kit is the perfect complement to standard AR15 rifle builds. This kit highlights our Enhanced Carbine Buffer Tube that delivers features that increase the reliability, security, and simplicity of your build. AR15/AR10 Enhanced Carbine Buffer Tube Features: Carrier Support Extensions – Fully supports and guides the bolt carrier group into the buffer tube after a round is fired, preventing carrier tilt and unnecessary wear on key components. The Carrier Support Extensions also extend on either side of the buffer retaining pin, securing the pin in place while simultaneously preventing the buffer tube from backing out under recoil. Position Guide Drain Holes – Each position guide features a drainage hole that removes water from the system in marine environments. During routine operation, smoother cycling is achieved by allowing additional air to escape during the compression cycle of the rifle. Ramped Tube Design – Allows for effortless installation of traditional carbine stocks. We have removed the need for messing around with screwdrivers to get your furniture over the end of the buffer tube. Simply hold down the adjustment piece and push your stock onto the Enhanced Buffer Tube. Proper Thread Depth – Traditional buffer tubes feature extended unused threads that can cause your stock to become trapped when fully collapsed. While some turn these threads down, we’ve correctly machined the threads to the proper depth, providing a much cleaner look. Mil-spec Dimensions – Machined from a 7075-T6 Aluminum Impact Extrusion to mil-spec dimensions. All standard carbine stock options made to work with mil-spec buffer tube dimensions are compatible with our Enhanced Carbine Buffer Tube. Includes: Enhanced Carbine Buffer Tube, 6-position Carbine Buffer Carbine Buffer spring Endplate and lock nut Made in the USA *Enhanced Carbine Buffer Tube is compatible with mil-spec stock options.

I had to replace these items from another manufacturer whom I will not mention. This has to be the best buffer kit out there, what a difference. If I used the original manufacturer’s parts I could have gotten hurt, seriously!!! Buy it you won’t be disappointed and everything fit like a glove.

This is exactly what I’d needed for you AR build. The little extras that Aero has designed are spot on!! The buffer retainer extension and the hole that allows the tube to drain if ever submerged.. Great product and great improvements!

Aero Precision lives up to their reputation. Their products are my go-to when I need dependable parts at a reasonable price. With this "enhanced" kit, I DO think they should include a QD endplate instead of the standard.

Install went perfectly, action fire pressure cleaner with less jump. 40% linear speed increase of off shoulder lag. Moisture wicking vent for humid or wet conditions a must in my profession. All in all a new product I will use and endorse.

The kit was worth the wait. Parts were standard other than the tube itself. The tube is why I wanted this kit. The extra length on the front, that surrounds the sides of the buffer retaining pin, makes it seem like the retaining pin is kept much better than tubes that only hold down the back of the pin.

After researching buffer tubes for my first ar15 build, I chose this one and i can't be more happy with my choice. Installation was a breeze and installing the stock was so easy with the features this tube comes with. No pulling on the pin to allow it on the tube, literally just give it a smack and it clicks right in. Would highly recommend

Pros) The buffer tube is excellent. Fits great, machined very nicely with smooth finish. The spring works great. Cons) The bumper on the buffer is not flush with the rest of the buffer which causes friction with the spring during charging/cycling. I changed out to a different buffer and it cycles beautifully. Would recommend the buffer tube for sure.

Easily the nicest buffer tube I've ever installed, and my new favorite tube on the market. Aero obviously put a lot of thought into getting this right. The castle nut was unfortunately tight (took some lube and elbow grease to get it on), but once on, it's rock solid. So "best ever" for the tube itself, and "easily as good as anybody else's parts kit" for the spring/buffer/castle… read more nut/end plate. I will be using this tube (and probably this kit) for all my future builds.
