The Aero Precision Ultralight 1″ SPR Scope Mount offers a cantilever style scope mount with the rings pushed 2″ forward for large scopes and results in improved eye relief. In addition to being a scope mount that accommodates high power scopes mounted on an AR-15 1913 Picatinny rail, this Aero mount features a cross-slotted keyway which offers outstanding recoil protection. As the “Ultralight” name indicates, these mounts are some of the lightest on the market. Greatly reduces eye strain and brings your scope up to a comfortable level. It has a very nice finish and besides the mounting rings, it is one piece of metal so it is very sturdy. I'll definitely be picking up other types of mounts from Aero in the future.

I used the mount with a Vortex sight on my .224 Valkyrie build. The mount is light and very solidly built. The angle of the SPR is perfect for an AR build to maintain proper eye relief. I shopped around, and the price offered by AR15discounts.com was unbeatable. Definitely recommend.
Light and Perfect Fit

Light, strong and perfect fit for my optic. Using an Arisaka Defense Optic Leveler or similar makes quick work of installation. QD would be nice for removing the optic in the field however for the price I can live with backing out three screws with the included driver which is actually a decent tool for what it is.
