My first AR lower build

The build went well, I used two different build videos from the internet and they helped. I used Allen wrenches as slave pins. Biggest issue was chasing springs three times, but luckily I found them each time. Only changed out trigger guard from kit.

The lower parts kits are ok. Had trouble with on of them. The buffer tube is ok but the stock is junk. I will not buy again. I thought Anderson was better than this but I guess not. I will not buy again. Spend the extra money and go with another brand.

This kit works just fine. The trigger pulled smooth for me. I was really happy with it until yesterday. Had a failure to feed with the BCG. Short trip to the range. :( After getting home and pulling my AR apart, I finally pulled out the buffer spring and buffer. Well, the buffer cap had come off and one weight was at the bottom of the tube. Today I looked around real hard to find… read more a new one. Which I did. Then I noticed that the one I'm replacing did not have a roll pin in it to hold it together. Which I did not know it was supposed to have. It lasted about 500 rounds, in 3 trips to the range. Anderson LPK 5 stars. Buttstock assembly 1 star.

I bought the lower parts kit here from ar15discounts and used it to finish an anderson stripped lower with removable trigger guard. If you bought the buffer tube kit, stock, grip and lower parts kit separately, for the cheapest parts you'd still be paying over $100. Trigger is standard military, nothing spectacular but works.
