AR MAGLOCK Gen 4 – AR-15 (.223 / 5.56) Fixed Magazine Lock and Release Solution The Gen 4 benefits: – New set screw on locking arm, allowing for adjustment to ANY receiver width including billet, composite, or 80% non mil-spec receivers. – Allows for “free state” adjustment when traveling outside California. This is the second maglock I've purchased, the price is comparable to other sites but other parts and free shipping pays for itself! The lock works flawless and will buy a few more to make my NY oppressors happy.

I had the JT Hellfighter and I realized I didn't like their mag lock mechanism so I bought this. (My life was incomplete living bereft of a bolt catch/release). I kept the release pin from JT Hellfighter so this mag lock provideda better combo. Yes, yes...I know I should have done more research and looked into the King Pin first, but that ship has sailed and here I am now. I… read more did have to sand down the piece that prevents you from pushing the mag release. It was not flush with the receiver bodies so I could not close the upper and lower. This was no big deal because Dremel fixed that in less than 60 seconds.

Already had the complete Juggernaut system installed to break the action but no holding of the bolt back. With the AR-Maglock solves that issue without the need of a AR-KingPin. The KingPin is great also since it’s a slimmer design than the Juggernaut which is cumbersome to the thumb. Easy install.
