AR MAGLOCK KingPin for Gen 2 & Gen 4 AR MAGLOCK systems on AR-15 .223 / 5.56 platforms. Introduced by AR MAGLOCK at 2018 SHOT show, now available! The KingPin allows for minimal separation (action disassembly) of the upper and lower receivers. The new KingPin holds the upper receiver from flying open when disassembling the action. Just a simple push on the pin with your thumb opens the action for mag changes, then automatically re-locks when you push the receivers together. This device is comparable to the Juggernaut Hellfighter. I’ve used both devices installed with a Hogue Freedom Fighter mag lock and I actually think I like the Kingpin a little bit better. They are both pretty good at what they do but for me the Kingpin is a little easier to take out and put back in. It’s easy to install and works great. Separates the upper and lower just enough for the Maglock to drop the mag. Way better than having to pull a pin to separate. Ordered and shipped quick and I have already ordered more to put on all my CA ar15’s
