Enhanced steel takedown/pivot pins for AR15/M16/M4 . These enhanced pivot/takdown pins comes with several enhancements for easy installation and operation. A convex head so it can be tapped from any angle. A extended concave tip for easy removal using any flat or pointed object including a bullet tip and an EZ-Set TM hole for detent installation. Pat. These pins have better lubricity and small indentations to make them easier to remove than your standard milspec pins. Nothing special, but a good upgrade.

My decision to replace the takedown and pivot pins in my AR was due to my original pins becoming very difficult to operate. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for them, so I opted for a set that was a step up from what I already have. After looking at the Armaspec Enhanced Pins, I decided to get them. What made the choice easier is that the price had dropped from the first time… read more I reviewed them. Installing them was a breeze after the hassle of trying to remove the original pins. What I like most about these pins are the indentations in the end that permit the use of a bullet tip to start the removal process and the rounded heads that make it easy to push or tap them back into place. I didn't want to get a takedown pin with an enlarged or extended head because the design of the lower wouldn't permit it. On the other hand, the takedown pin is recessed when fully seated and I happen to like it (See photo). These are a great, low-cost replacement for your original takedown & pivot pins and with fast delivery from AR15Discounts, that's all you'll ever need.

Great set of pins. I really like the dimpling on both ends. It's not only functional, but looks nice, too. It also comes with a set of springs and detents, which is a big plus.

Very nicely made and fairly close to dimpled end originals. Fit the detents just fine right out of the box
