About Armaspec XPDW Stock – Gen 2
The Armaspec XPDW ™ Gen2 stock is an aluminum 5 position stock with hardened steel rods. It incorporates a low profile lightweight aluminum latch carrier with a steel lock engagement point. The stock can be rapidly deployed using the ratcheting system or gravity by pointing the rifle up while disengaging the lock. The XPDW™ is designed to mount directly on your standard mil-spec buffer tube with no other modifications. It also features a QD butt attachment point for your sling, is made in the USA, and has a lifetime warranty. Pat. It was everything as advertised. My only suggestion would be to add rubber tubbing on the slides to help prevent a little rattle when collapsed, not a big deal, but would make it better. Very pleased with purchase

It's a little clunky. And WILL NOT work with some ambidextrous end plate options, could use shorter arms too due to the inability to use the takedown pins when fully collapsed (also is the issue with ambidextrous end plates such as the strike industries antiwalk backplate). But it is VERY well made and could easily have spring assistance added. Once you find out that it's strictly… read more a cosmetic item, it seems a little unnecessary, but man can you grip it into that shoulder pocket with the stock. There should be a pistol version made for around the same price for the pistol people. But overall I REALLY dig the construction and feel of this thing. It's the lowest price amongst it's competitors, however it could DEFINITELY be more affordable (if it had the formentioned modifications then it would absolutely be worth EVERY penny of its current pricing). The ambidextrous QD spot could also have been placed more conveniently. But it runs fine. Just would be nice to have it down around the end plate. Instead of up underneath the front of the stock pad. It just seems a bit wonky, but again it runs fine. Can't wait to see how it holds up over the years in the land of salt and sand.

This thing is built like a tank but is might lighter than expected. It provides a level of solid should stock contact not afforded by those loose cheap stocks you see everywhere….

Great working stock. Slid onto my buffer tube and tightened and done. Nice light heavy duty feel and quality stability.

I like the stock. Easy install. Would have liked to have seen an additional QD push button sling point on the bottom of the base tube near the lower receiver end of the tube. I added one to continue having a single point sling connection to my weapon.

Well, first of all PDW braces can be $$$. This one at a fraction of the cost has some features and advantages over the SB Tactical PDW. Ease of setup, more positions, and extended length goes out to 11" from the receiver end plate! I love the for and finish on the SB, but this is now my go-to if I need the extended length and more positions. ???
