About Bootleg Inc. 16" .223 Wylde Lightweight Upper Assembly
The new Bootleg CamLok Handguards are the next evolution in our lightweight, easy to install AR-15 handguards. These handguards are extruded 6061 Aluminum and feature a Mil-Spec Hard Coat Anodizing. The simple CamLok system ensures that the handguard can be installed quickly and stays put. The CamLok handguards are M-Lok compatible Upper: Machined from forged 7075 Aluminum Mil Spec Hard Anodizing Forward assist eliminated for weight saving and reduced snag risk Lightweight design 6.2 oz stripped (.8 oz lighter than a mil spec upper receiver) 1.7 oz lighter than a mil spec upper receiver with hardware installed Captured dust cover door pin eliminating the need for the E clip Increased barrel mounting circumference maintaining a solid barrel / receiver interface Interference fit barrel extension interface for increased accuracy SPECIFICATIONS Weight – 3 lb 2.1 oz Barrel Length – 16″ 15″ Handguard Gas System – Mid-length Barrel Twist – 1:8 Caliber- .223 Wylde BCG & Charging Handle not Included
