This sight base was a great fit for me. I took off the sling ring and drilled and tapped for a set screw to mount onto my Barrel, worked like a charm and installation was easy.

Have not used the unit yet. Fit, form, and function are good. That being said the finish is a bit coarse compared to an OEM, like a paint overspray type roughness. The bore is smooth and fit my barrel well.
