The Dirty Bird 7075-T6 True Mil-Spec Carbine Receiver Extension is an excellent choice for your next AR-15 or AR-308 build. The unit is machined from American 7075-T6 Aluminum to Mil-Spec dimensions and then finished with a Type 3 class 2 hard anodizing. The tube features 6 adjustment positions and drain holes per military specifications. American 7075-T6 Aluminum Held to mil-spec or better tolerances 6 Adjustment Positions Also available in Magpul FDE, OD Green and Midnight Bronze Cerekote. As always AR15Discounts was great!!! But as the title suggests, nothing special about this item. Needed a FDE tube for a build and had a hard time finding in a cerakote finish so I went for this Dirty Bird. Color was good but thats about it. Looks like they started with a second hand Vietnam era tube and let some kids loose on it with a rattle can to cover up the poor quality. Had… read more to sand down the globs of paint from the inside of the tube. Fit ok and will get the job done, luckily the brace will cover most of it. Glad I tested the water with Dirty bird on a $30 part. Wont make a more expensive mistake.
