About Dirty Bird AR-15 Enhanced Lower Parts Kit - D010
Dirty Bird Industries’ Enhanced Lower Parts consists of the highest quality, precision machined components. This LPK includes pins, springs and controls plus an extra takedown / pivot pin detent & spring set, and an upgraded enhanced polymer trigger guard. This kit also includes Dirty Bird’s popular single stage Nickel Teflon trigger group. Featuring honed and polished engagement surfaces, a slick and durable Nickel Teflon finish and finely tuned spring rate for the trigger and hammer springs, you get a smooth trigger pull with very little take-up and a crisp clean break at 5 – 5.5 pounds. The gear works fine because it’s all the same parts. It’s the price differential of a 50 cent piece being sold elsewhere for 6 dollars or more. I take exception with people who claim to be an American company doing me a favor while trying to pull a Robin Hood on me. If the company isn’t going to have anything original to sell then they are advertising their theft with catchy… read more slogans and misguided shipping fees. I like the lower parts kit just fine. This kit has a lighter spring set for the trigger. Don’t know exactly why it should cost more than 20 dollars with shipping. Anywhere….

Installs great. Trigger works good and comes with two sets of springs for tuning the pull and release. All other components seem to be MS. I really have grown fond of DBI parts, they seem to be well built and quality.

The trigger was great with the extra springs but a little bit of a problem with the bolt hold open detent. Had an extra one so crisis averted.

Fit and finish was good, and two sets of trigger springs was a nice touch. The lite ones have a bit more creep than the standard ones. And I received two trigger latch springs and was missing one bolt catch spring. Overall good fit and finish!

I would highly recommend this kit. The kit has some extra parts and from my research the gold or blueish color spring is you lighter pull spring. The trigger is smooth and crisp. It is a great addition to any build.

I have bought the trigger individually several times for my builds and love them. When I saw it included in this kit, it was a no brainer to get 2 of them. Trigger is very smooth but when I replaced the springs with some with a 2.5-3lb pull, it became extremely nice. All the parts in the kit are high quality and matched well with my Aero lower. Kit had a couple extra of the easy to lose pieces witch is always a plus and the trigger lb. Reduction springs feel amazing

Pros -Nickel coated polished hammer/trigger made by Schmid Tool, which is excellent and very crisp especially when combined with the KAW Valley blue reduced power springs. Night and day difference compared to a standard mil spec trigger and springs. -Enhanced trigger guard which I was not expecting. -Proper A2 grip in both thickness and smooth construction (not lower quality… read more composite type polymer like some cheaper LPKs) -Extra takedown pin spring and detent included. Cons -Generic safety selector switch is not the beefier Schmid Tool S marked one. -provided safety detent spring may have been out of spec causing a mushy wobbly safety. Changed out the spring with one from an Anderson LPK and the safety was nice and tight with good actuation. -Competition price Overall this is a quality kit minus one component, however not competitively priced compared to a PSA EPT LPK which contains the same exact trigger/hammer and is $15 cheaper and comes with a superior selector switch.

This lower parts kit was Great. I especially liked the Trigger, it is a big improvement over a standard Mil-Spec Trigger Group. Unless I literally see other brand name Lower Kits go on sale for near "Half Price" (which I do see from time to time) I will continue to get this kit to build out all my Mil-Spec Forged Lowers. It does the job very well at a price that is extremely affordable.

It's a reasonably priced kit with a good-for-the-money trigger. This kit doesn't include a set screw for the take-down pin detent. The set screw isn't really needed, but it's a nice-to-have part if you have a lower that's tapped for it. It's enough of a value that I would still order them again.

Great price on needed parts, replacing some components on a composite pistol that I personally think is needed. Trigger is a bonus. Crisp pull and release at around 5#. Very good deal overall
