About Dirty Bird Enhanced 2-Stage Lower Parts Kit - D008
Dirty Bird Industries’ Enhanced 2-Stage Lower Parts Kit consists of the highest quality, precision machined components. This LPK includes pins, springs and controls plus an extra takedown / pivot pin detent & spring set, and an upgraded enhanced polymer trigger guard. This kit also includes Dirty Bird’s brand new 2-Stage Trigger. This trigger assembly takes advantage of a two stage fire control design that has been trusted in both competition and combat roles for decades. Springs are tuned to provide a smooth first stage pull of about 1.5lbs and a crisp second stage break at 3lb for a total pull weight of 4.5lbs (actual total pull weight may vary ± .25lb). The 4.5lb total weight gives the operator a greater level of safety and control in high stress environments but with a second stage pull weight of only 3lbs, the shooter can also squeeze off long range precision shots with ease. The DB 2 stage lower parts kit has a nice fit and finish, above mil spec. The trigger has a smooth pull, solid wall, and light second stage. Can't wait to try it out and see if the reset is just as good.

Dirty Bird makes the best 2 stage on the market for the money. Nothing fancy, just a very smooth action with 2 springs for your preference. Very righteous upgrade. Lower parts kit is as good as gets, but a more high-end pistol grip would be nice. No complaints, no worries.

The 2 stage trigger is very smooth, great for the price! Trigger guard is plastic, that is a total fail. The kit would definitely be a 5 with a better trigger guard.

The kit was great but did not include the buffer spring retainer spring. Must have been missed in packing. Luckily I had another at the house. Overall very happy with the product.

Trigger is a really good value and parts kit is as good as you'd get from any off-the-shelf AR. If you dig the A2 grip (fine for what it is), the kit is that much better value. Basically if you need a lower parts kit and want a trigger upgrade this is one of the best options.

Pleasantly surprised. The Dirty Bird components were very good quality. Used this kit with my Aero Precision lower. The only problem I experienced was with the two roll pins that are used for the bolt stop/release and the trigger guard. The provided pins were much too thick and very difficult to tap into the trigger guard and bolt stop/release. Since these two areas, particularly… read more the ears at the trigger guard, are susceptible to breakage if not carefully installed, I would prefer that these two roll pins were not so thick and difficult to hammer. Notwithstanding, I feel this kit is still worthy of a 5-Star Rating, as everything else was beyond satisfactory. No missing parts here. The extra detent and spring and the spare, alternate second-stage trigger spring were very nice to have in case I needed or wanted to use them. Will be keeping an eye on Dirty Bird for possible future purchases.

Have not fired any rounds out of the new build but it is all quality. This is my first 2 stage trigger so I have no comparison. Overall happy.

The trigger is nearly as good as a name brand and the lower parts kit is totally acceptable. The pistol grip is pretty much a throw-away (nothing wrong with it, I just dislike the A2 design). If you do the math you're paying way less than half for a 90% as-good-as-name-brand product.

The lower parts kit looks great and it came in a timely manner but I also ordered some other things just after this shipped. I screwed up my second order and frantically emailed them at the last moment. As busy as they are, they not only switched my parts for me but they were super nice about it. I haven't gotten a chance to take it out yet but you can see the quality when you take a look. The springs are already on the parts and it came with a second spring to change the weight on the pull. Very smooth all around, looks like it's ready to rock and roll!

I have not installed this item but the quality looks good. They include a second 1st stage spring so you can stiffen 1st stage if you like. There was a small issue with a pin and the great CS team at ARDiscounts.com handled it quickly. I can't wait to finish the build

I ordered the Dirty Bird Lower Parts Kit to complete my build. I was going to order every part individually, so this made it a lot easier to acquire the parts I needed.
