About Hera Arms H3T GEN 2 Transparent Frame 30-Round Polymer Magazine
The Hera Arms H3T GEN 2 Magazine fits naturally in your hand with its tapered leading edge while a textured surface provides positive control. Centering support fins along the top of the mag square it off when inserted into the magwell, preventing it from rattling in place. The transparent window allows you to instantly identify a loaded magazine from the sides or rear while index marks in the window indicate 20 and 30-round capacities helping you to keep track of necessary reloads. Flush with magazine body, the floorplate is quickly removed by pushing out the locking tab making disassembly a breeze. They run some larger sized 300blk alright, but they were loosey goosey and dropping multiple rounds of smaller 300blk brass stuff when I used them in a class. I would stick with pmags unless you neeeeeed mags in OD Green.

I really like the look and feel of this magazine. The color is great. The aesthetic is awesome. Unfortunately, this magazine would not stay in my magazine well. I ordered two and both had the same issue and I believe the lip where the magazine catch "catches" it, is too shallow. I have a Lantac Onyx receiver and using a Forward Controls EMR mag release. Lancers, PMAGs, and Duramags… read more have no issues staying inserted. I did not want to review bomb this product because as you can see, most people have good luck with this product. However, I just can't attest to its durability and feed quality since it will not stay inserted into the mag well.

I haven’t used them yet but they feel solid and look great. They are longer than every other mag I have but that doesn’t bother or affect me at all.

I recently bought some Hera Arms magazines. They're nice and sleek, but a bit too thin.They don't seat very tightly in the Mag well which allow them to rattle a bit more than other Magazines. They're a bit tough to start loading as well. Overall, they work and would be good as a back up mag.

Good product, have used other HERA products this would be the 1st try at the magazines they offer. Solid sturdy magazines not fitment issues on ar-15 lowers i have tried them on.

So for the price I can't really complain, They operate fine in the rifle no failures shooting but out of the 6 I bought none hold the bolt back after the last round . Hand cycling half operate as expected. Different gen Pmags and steel mags work the bolt catch on the last round with the same ammo. Seems like the springs are weak, These mags seem right at home for range mags but… read more I wouldn't ever trust them in a defense situation. I can recommend them as range mags but nothing else.

I was a little hesitant at first but after using and try them out a few times, I love them. The look is perfect and adds a little bit of texture to the rifle. Also, the style and look of the mag is exactly what I have always wanted. I will for sure be picking up some more in the future. Overall I am completely satisfied with the design and the function of the mag.

I like the design of these mags. Can't speak to reliability, but how bad can it be? I do like the rear window for round count. And the price is right. Five stars for price and quality.

My new favorite mags! I was surprised to see these available in FDE since they're almost impossible to find this color in stores. Quality German made and has window to see if mag is loaded. Very good color match to brand name and you can't beat the price! Get them while you can! Just wish OD Green were available!

Follow was a little sticky at first. Took mag apart put a little gun grease on each side of follower, works great now.

Love these mags, have many mags from all different manufacturers at a higher price point, and these at 1/2 the price are just as good and have had no issues with ammo feed of 5.56-223-300BO rifle and 300BO pistol, had no issues with ammo feed like other more expensive mags

I have several of every kind of AR mag out there and shoot a lot, weather permitting I shoot 500-1000 rounds a month to 6 weeks. These mags at the price are awesome. Used these mags with 300BO 16"/10inch barrel pistol set as well as 5.56-223 & 223W. Many different lower receivers and upper receiver set ups and not 1 issue, 30 round tactical reloads are not too bad, but I prefer… read more 29 rounds in my mags ,so it's easier to put the magazine in with the bolt closed.

I love these magazines. These are the only mags I buy now. I love that you can see how many rounds you have left from the rear and not just the sides. Very smart. The only con for me is that they are often out of stock everywhere. I just ordered 4 more recently. I wanted to order far more than that, but I honestly wanted to leave some for the rest of you. I’ve only used them… read more for .556 so far with no issues. I have some of these mags set aside for my .300blk build, but I’ve not run any .300blk from these mags yet. My build is moving along very slowly, but I’ll update this when I’ve used them for .300blk.

Drops free from LMT, Aero precision, Poverty Pony and PSA lowers with no problems. Color match is not "exact" to magpul FDE, close enough you can't really tell. Interestingly, it is dimensionally larger in height than any other mag I have (L to R, Hera, 2nd Amend, MFT, Magpul, OKAY Industries).
