I had bought the Odin works adjustable buffer and had issues with it. I returned it and traded for the kak buffer. Worked perfectly.

I am building a KE15 Polymer with 20" 223 Wylde. Many Google threads said go with the original rifle 5oz weight. I went with two tungsten and one steel (4.7 oz i think). During my test fire shells ejected at 3 o'clock. Perfect on the first guess. I will probably buy a 4.6 to 5oz cheap fixed buffer for this build and use the KAK to configure my next build!

It worked like a charm. Added a couple weights, almost up three ounces. I do here some spring noise, but well, that is the spring. Good kit, low price.

I bought this kit to help optimize function of my ar15 carbine with suppressor. It worked great and i was actualy able to rebuild 3 standard buffers with heavier weights from this one kit. Great kit def. recommend.

Great product for custom builds in all calibers. You can get 3 to 4 different buffers out of this. Fixed my problems.

Was laid out well just wish I had a spec sheet on all the weights of tube, cap, pin, and different weights but kit was easy to use just had to find a scale

I like how solid the weights are inside the buffer body, no slop. It's nice that it comes with an extra roll pin and bumper. I do recommend that you use a C clamp to find the perfect weight for your application. If you don't squeeze the bumper into the buffer body to align the holes, you'll carve out some of the bumper plastic each time. I'd rather do that than have a sloppy buffer.… read more The 'KAK' site doesn't show all available combinations for the weights. There is also, tungsten/aluminum/steel at 3.4 oz.

Buffer tube caps do not fit tight did not end up using buffer tube used factory buffer tube and just changed weights but a good value for what it is

This kit is what you need if you are shooting a wide variety of ammo. I have an AR10 6.5 CREEDMOOR, and I have range ammo that requires a lighter buffer weight, from the hot ammo I shoot for distance. The range ammo is 140gr. With a velocity of 2650, and using a 2 steel, 1 tungsten works perfect, however the the hot ammo is 140gr. with a velocity of 2910 requires a 2 tungsten,… read more 1st steel buffer, and another set up for medium velocity ammo. I also then fine tune the ejection using the gas adj. screws till everything functions perfect. In the service I had one type of ammo, and not much adjustment was needed, so I'm very happy to have found this kit from KAK INDUSTRIES. And thanks to AR15DISCOUNTS.COM for sending it so quick.
