NEEDS ROUND BUFFER TUBE ONLY, NOT MIL-SPEC

Wish I had read the reviews that advised that this needs a round buffer tube only and will not fit on a mil-spec (key hole shaped) buffer tube. Oddly I based my purchase on a 3d printed "shockwave style" blade brace that was designed to fit mil-spec buffers and I liked. So I (wrongly) assumed that purchasing the real deal one would be an upgrade. The product could be designed and… read more manufactured to fit the mil-spec tubes, it would the also fit the round ones. By designing it to only fit the round tubes KAK has lessened the scope of their product's usefulness and I'm sure caused more than me to question why it was designed such. The product itself seems of adequate quality though I am ranking it low for its low cross compatibility. And lack of adjustable length of pull without tools. Even the 3d one I printed had that feature and fit mil-spec.

KAK shockwave pistol brace

Nice brace though I couldn't find information specifically stating this brace is approved by the ATF. It might be important if the ATF reclassifies pistol braces as requiring registration and $200. Tax stamp.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED!

I the KAK Shockwave Blade Pistol Stabilizer on a 10 1/2 5.56 NATO pistol build and could not be happier with the results. The Shockwave brace is a very handy addition for my build and easy to adjust. With the set screw tightened, the blade is rock solid on my pistol buffer tube.

I Never knew KAK would feel so good!

My KAK is ridigd, looks great and feels amazing!!! My KAK is even adjustable but I leave it pulled out all the way. The price for KAK was great. This is my first KAK but I'll buy more. I wasn't sure how I would like the looks of the black KAK, but it looks normal.

Good Price for a Good Pistol Brace

I bought one of these previously and I didn’t need another one at point, but for the price it was being offered for I decided to get another one for when I will need it. It is firm rigid poly that allows solid placement to shoot steady. To sum up, at the price this was offered this is a great choice for your pistol if you prefer to shoot from your shoulder.

Works very well on harder recoiling pistols

I've tried the cheaper brands of stabilizing fins and they just don't hold up that well. With the recoiling inertia, the cheap ones will slide forward and don't hold at the same place on the cheek. These lock in place and don't move until you unscrew the set screw and physically move them. They work very well.

Has to be the best price online from what I had seen. The blade seems to be well constructed. I suppose like most of them on the market like this one, it is slow to adjust the length. I have some concern of it coming loose during recoil. I did put a small 5/32" Allen wrench in the Daniel Defense pistol grip that I installed on the pistol so I can tighten it or change the length… read more if I need. This brace is very solid and secure on my normal pistol buffer tube. It is very easy to adjust the placement on the tube for different lengths. At the furthest point, it is the exact same length as the adjustable stock on my Rifle. Make sure to check the ATF regulations on length for yourself.
