Our 6-position dimpling jig is designed to allow you to easily dimple your own barrel. The 6 different, laser-marked spacing sets allow for a variety of gas block applications. The jig will fit perfectly in any bench vise to allow easy dimpling. Spacing is to the center of the 5/32″ drill guide holes: .400, .420, .450, .460, .470, and .500. Machined from US Steel and QPQ Heat Treated. Comes with: (1) Alignment set screw (1) Non-marring set screw

I'm not impressed. Had high hopes. The laser engraved sizes are very hard to read. My KAK jig is so much easier to see the sized since it is embossed into the jig in big font. The inner diameter is too tight for my faxon and BA barrels. I had to hollow out the core with a sanding drum and a dremel so that it could slide on the gas journal. The jig should be slightly loose to use… read more the alignment set screw. Then when I get ready to set up my drill press to dimple the barrel, the drill guide holes have no tolerance in them. My Milwaukee carbide 5/32" bit is too large to fit. Seems like some huge oversights in the design and tolerances. At least the KAK jig included a proper bit.

This tool is a must if you plan on using dimpling on your barrel. it lines things up well. After trying barrel dimpling a couple times, I prefer it to clamp on gas blocks because they are easier to line up on the gas port on the barrel.

TIRED OF OF SETTING UP TO DIMPLE .625 BARRELS FOR GAS BLOCKS WITH SQUARE AND SILVER PENCIL. FINALLY FOUND THIS ONE AND PURCHASED RIGHT AWAY. ONCE YOU DO AN INSTALL WITH JIG YOU'LL NEVER DO WITHOUT AGAIN. HAVE DONE MANY .750 BARRELS ALSO. ONLY WAY TO GO. GUNNEY JIM 02MAR2021
