About KNS Precision Gen 2 MOD 2 Non-Rotating Trigger/Hammer Pins .154 Diameter
These are the KNS Precision Generation 2 Mod 2 pin sets. These are the STRONGEST pins that can be produced and were designed to withstand the high impact of full and semi-auto 9mm, .223, and 7.62mm suppressed weapons. The pins are stainless steel. Black sideplates are black nitride treated, all other color options are DuraCoated. An absolute must-have for all M-16 owners. They will also protect your AR-15. Special anti-creep retainers prevent wear on your irreplaceable M-16 or AR-15 receiver. Pin installation tool & 2 Torx wrenches included. No modification to firearm required. THE TORQUE SPEC ON THE SCREW IS 11 inch/lbs. MAXIMUM. We recommend 8 INCH/LBS of torque. IMPORTANT NOTE: The external width of some AR receivers may vary in the trigger/hammer pin area depending on the manufacturer. The KNS Precision Gen 2 Mod 2 Trigger/Hammer Pin anti-rotation kit is the best on the market. Upon completing a new SPR build, with a quality two-stage match grade trigger, I could see the trigger pin rotate, sometimes more and sometimes less, as the trigger was moved through the firing sequence. I realized that this could potentially have two adverse effects including inconsistent… read more trigger pull weight and wear on the lower receiver pin bores over time. It was then I decided to equip all my AR platform rifle builds with this kit. In for a penny, in for a pound. Not cheap but easy installation, consistent trigger pull and elimination of lower receiver wear makes them well worth it!

If your like me you want to make the gun look as cool as possible and be as helpful as possible, I upgraded my trigger and the pins started to walk slowly but not with this product! Helped so much!

This was the big splurge item on a new M&P15 I put together to learn some longer range shooting with. They provide a piece of mind that I wont have to consider replacing the lower any time in the near future. And it looks kinda cool too against so many other ar15s at the range.

Love the KNS pins. Fairly easy to install, nice looks. Some Trigger companies don't recommend them on their triggers, so check that out. That's the only reason I don't run them on all my ARs.

Love this setup from KNS. The slot style hammer pin insures no movement. This makes the pin the wear item and not the aluminum lower receiver. Fits every time on every Mil-spec lower. Great product that works.

After I read and reread the instructions, kinda small print. It was a breeze. very good manufacturing. I really like it . actually very simple to do. The parts were made right for operation, with locktite. I will buy again. The standard pin set I had in this lower did not fit quite right, and this set cured that.

I bought 5 sets of these to use on all my ARs, and they for the most part are awesome. But one of the bars deformed when applying torque per their requirements. If you intend to apply the full torque, expect to see possible deformation or you can get the mod 1 version that has thicker bars to prevent this.
