The Upper Standard Receiver is precision machined with an ultra-smooth proprietary bore. At a roughness average of 16 µin, bolt carrier friction is significantly less than a typical upper receiver creating a silkier action. Barrel nut threads, bore, and barrel extension surfaces are all machined in one operation for a perfectly concentric, perpendicular fit to the barrel assembly.
