Before the Luth-AR buttstock, I could not find a good-looking buttstock that fit the one commercial buffer tube I had left. It doesn't shake, rattle and it is ready to roll!

Luth-ar mba-5 stock

Stock is as described , changed the looks of my vr 80 to a great looking gun and the fit and feel on the gun is more than I expected with the stock and the chubby grip.

It's junk

Don't waste your money on it. The set screw that snugs it up always loosens. If you loctite it, then you can't adjust it. Even at that price, I expected more from Luth-AR. Big disappointment.

Amazing stock

I got the stock that I wanted at the best price. I put this on my 6.5 grendel and it looks amazing the way that I wanted. At the range it held up no vibrations were felt in the stock iam very happy with this product and will definitely buy again for any of my other builds.

Decent stock

The mba-5 has a little looser fit than I like on a mil spec kaw valley buffer tube. It is easy to mount and adjust. I installed it on my lr308 . I prefer the magpul stock with the friction lock in this price range but I will use the luth-ar.

MBA 5 stars

I’ve been looking at both the MBA 3 and 4 for a while, this is a good compromise, with a smaller, lighter, version when all the adjustments are not required. Fits the mil spec tube the same as the MP MOE triangle it replaced on my 18” Wylde.

Not good...BIG disappointment!

I was really excited to get try this stock on my 18” Grendel build. The stock came in and looked good. Checked the installations and slid it on properly. HORRIBLE! Wiggled...rattlely....terrible fit. Evidently, someone at Luth-AR decided the tensioning screw was not needed. Guess they don’t shoot or use their own products. Don’t buy this until the engineers at Luth-AR fix… read more this issue.

Perfect Stock for a VR80

MBA5 review

Versatile stock for bench work. I am now running this on a second rifle and an MBA5 on a coyote gun I'm building. I chose this over the PRS because the Picatinny mount on the bottom for adding a monopod.

Best stocks for shooting from the bench

This is the 3rd Luth-Ar stock that I have purchased. Unlike other stocks the flat base works best when shooting with a rear bag from the bench. I highly recommend this stock for anyone shooting from the bench with a rear bag. The stock serves as well for plinking also, light weight and is not cumbersome.
