About Magpul MBUS Flip-Up Sight Set (Front & Rear)
The MBUS (Magpul® Back-Up Sight) is a low-cost, color injection molded, folding back-up sight. The MBUS Front Sight is adjustable for elevation and fits most 1913 Picatinny-railed hand guards, but is specifically tailored to the AR15/M16 platform. Features: •Impact resistant polymer construction provides light weight and resists operational abuse •Spring-loaded flip up sight easily activated from either side or by pressing the top •Detent and spring pressure keeps sight erect but allows for unobstructed folding under impact, etc. •Clamps to most any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny/STANAG 4694 railed hand guard and provides the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons •Protective wings shield the spring-locking A2 front sight post •Elevation adjustment tool included, but most aftermarket A2 front sight adjustment tools may be used as well NOTE: Cannot be mounted to a railed gas block due to excess heat issues. Front MBUS must be mounted to a railed fore end on the same plane as the receiver rail. Because of this the sight is also not compatible with MOE Hand Guards.

These sights are made with plastic. They are every bit as good as more expensive aluminum ones I have on another AR. Probably more rugged to boot. It took very little time at the range to get them in paper. Good product!

Great item. They are super tight to get on the rail. So tight I thought they wouldn’t work. I got them on by lining them up and using a little dead blow hammer.

Easy to dial in. Easy to use sights for plinking are for co-witness with red dot. Push a button & they pop - up. There Magpul which means made well.

Affordable at about 85 bucks for a set, lightweight, rugged and reliable. I have a lot of experience with these and they are best in class. What's not to like for a back up site?

These are great. No complaints at all. A more visible AR front sight would be really nice, but these compared to a stock AR iron sight, I'd take these any day.

Magpul makes great back up sites. I've got them on three rifles. Currently I'm using them as my primary sites while I get the cash together for an optic. Some flip up sites won't work on large handguards, so bonus, the plastic sites are easy to modify and since the plastic is solid color you don't damage the slick look of your build.

Being "old school," I wasn't sure about plastic sights. The Magpul MBUS mounted easily and securely and seem to be very robust. Maybe the best set for the money. Shipping from AR15 was top drawer; fast and well packed.
