Experience so far has been excellent. Great Magpul product, no mystery there. Expect the best, and that is what you get. Perfect fit. Has a 12 inch length of pull when installed. Good deal.

Good price, nothing fancy

Simple product, material and build quality seems standard. Does the job and is CA compliant approved with DOJ as far as I know, unlike the rubber stops people purchase. The LOP isn't exactly my favorite compared to the length I'd normally use on a telescoping stock. The stock features two slits for slings and a QD hole. My only concern is whether or not non-MOE QD mounts will work… read more well with it. Have yet to find out.

Firm Stock, great for fixed applications

One negative is that paraclips can not attach without a swivel or adapter, easily fixed with a little effort and Uncle Mike's Super Swivels!

Quality Construction

Magpul delivers the goods, as usual. The stock quality is great in comparison to the usual M4 collapsing stock. It fits solidly and comes with both a Milspec and commercial-sized sleeve to fit over your buffer tube. The milspec sleeve fit my S&W M&P Sport II perfectly. I'd give this product a 5-star review, but I failed to realize that it is a fixed CARBINE length of pull (LOP).… read more I need a full-stock LOP. That was my error for not reading the description thoroughly. The LOP might be fine if you shoot with iron sights or a forward-mounted red dot. If you have a scope mounted to your AR, the LOP is shorter than ideal. You can install a thicker Magpul butt pad (sold separately) to increase the LOP or just build your own pad (if you feel like tinkering). For me, I'll just order an A2 stock to replace it.

Really Interesting Stock

I honestly haven't used the stock. I found out it needed to have the sliding rail buffer tube, which I have an A2 style for fixed stock. It's high quality for the price and it is a fixed stock. Slightly smaller, is recommend for a smaller person. Overall great product!
