About Magpul MOE-K Grip
Designed as a drop-in upgrade for the standard AR15/M4 pistol grip, The MOE-K Grip provides an extremely low profile and compact design with a steeper grip angle compared to more traditional styles. The more vertical grip angle is optimized for use on PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) configurations and improves comfort and control on short LOP rifles that bring the primary hand in closer to the shooter’s body. The thin profile and lack of backstrap ‘beavertail’ also makes it an excellent choice for shooters who prefer a smaller grip circumference. All mounting hardware included. Made in U.S.A. I wanted something similar to the A2 grip, minus the nub and slender plastic feel. This works perfect and looks great as well. It doesn’t have the atrocious looking beaver tail that protrudes and mates up with the receiver very nicely.

I ordered the MOE-K to replace the standard MOE grip on my rifle. Wanted to try something without a beaver tail, in the hopes of better reach to the selector lever. Put the grip on the gun and was very pleased. much thinner and easier to get to controls. Also, the grip angle is very nice for shorter length of pull. Good product. Grip preference is subjective and while I like most of Magpul's offerings, the K grip is my go to. It's close in size to the A2 grip but with a better angle and without the nub. I add a bike tire tube for a better grip.

Grip is better than the standard A2 factory grip however, I’d rather have the K2 grip angle. Unfortunately, the K2 isn’t available without the beaver tail blackstrap.
