About Magpul MOE Rifle Stock
The MOE Rifle Stock (Magpul Original Equipment) is a drop-in replacement for AR15/M16 A1 and A2 rifle stocks utilizing the standard rifle-length receiver extension (buffer tube). Designed as a basic upgrade, the stock features integral 1.25″ sling loop, optional dual-side front and rear QD mounting points, replaceable anti-slip rubberized butt-pad, and internal storage compartment accessible through the rear storage door. Made in U.S.A. FEATURES Mounts to rifle-length receiver extension tube without A2 spacer (not included) Sloping cheek weld combines a slim profile with user comfort Overall shape provides for offhand hold options Rubber butt-pad provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage Large storage compartment easily accessible behind hinged butt-plate Knockout bosses on the bottom allow for the addition of an optional accessory rail Sling Mounts Bottom Rear – 1.25″ Sling loop Front/Rear – Optional Sling Mounts fit up to 1.5″ push-button QD swivels NOTE: The MOE Rifle Stock is a direct replacement for an A1 or A2 fixed stock. Fitting to a carbine with a collapsible stock will require a rifle-length receiver extension tube, rifle buffer and spring (not included).

Wanted something different for a 20" build I'm doing. The Magpul MOE fixed stock looked good, so I went with that in the complete buffer tube/spring kit that AR15discounts have. Very satisfied with the fit, and comfort of it. It also had lots of options for slings which is very nice. Already considering a small tool kit for the storage compartment in the stock, will be good for… read more scope mount tools, cleaning rag, etc.

This is the best stock I have bought for my AR. Changing over from a carbine to rifle buffer tube was a breeze and I highly recommend this stock to anybody!

Fit and finish is nice. Length of pull is about perfect for me and gives you a good check weld. Seems very sturdy. Wish it came with QD swivel attachment, but you have to buy separate. Overall great stock as an A2 replacement at a good price. Happy with it.

Working on a Precision AR build and reduction of internal movement is a priority. Noted the Magpul locking collapsible stock was likewise outstanding but still had slight play and while the collapsible stocks certainly look and seem "Cool" the only real gain is 3.5" less storage space that I really don't need. The rigidity of a solid stock simply can't be beat for precision work… read more and the Gen I Magpul is absolutely perfect while it also offers a LARGE storage compartment and fantastic ergonomics at less than HALF the cost of the Gen II and... The Gen I's are no longer available from Magpul so IF you want one or even THINK you'll want/need one in the future, BEST stock UP ! There IS one downside and I was NOT PLEASED ! "NO" Q.D. sling sockets are included with the purchase so another $15 for the rifle stock Q.D. sling kit just flat Pistered me OFF ! But... Even WITH that very great annoyance... I am extremely pleased with this stock.
