Magpul MOE Rifle Stock The MOE Rifle Stock (Magpul Original Equipment) is a drop-in replacement for AR15/M16 A1 and A2 rifle stocks utilizing the standard rifle-length receiver extension (buffer tube). Designed as a basic upgrade, the stock features integral 1.25″ sling loop, optional dual-side front and rear QD mounting points, replaceable anti-slip rubberized butt-pad, and internal storage compartment accessible through the rear storage door. Made in U.S.A. FEATURES Mounts to rifle-length receiver extension tube without A2 spacer (not included) Sloping cheek weld combines a slim profile with user comfort Overall shape provides for offhand hold options Rubber butt-pad provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage Large storage compartment easily accessible behind hinged butt-plate Knockout bosses on the bottom allow for the addition of an optional accessory rail Sling Mounts Bottom Rear – 1.25″ Sling loop Front/Rear – Optional Sling Mounts fit up to 1.5″ push-button QD swivels NOTE: The MOE Rifle Stock is a direct replacement for an A1 or A2 fixed stock. Overall it’s a quality stock that you can expect from Magpul. The only issue I had I was building a featureless AR and I couldn’t fit my fingers on the grip because the grip wasn’t telescoping. I wanted a fixed stock but unfortunately in Comifornia everything is a bit more difficult.

Installed easy. Fit perfect. Nice length of pull. I love a modern A2 type stock. Has some nice rear storage as well. It fit the bill nicely.

I debated between this and an A2 stock and I'm glad I went with this. Super sturdy, feels good on the cheek. Will probably go with this for my next AR rifle length build.

Made my 6.8 sexy again. Very solid stock. Replacing all my CTR's. Firearm comes up solid and quickly and no cheesy/sloppy feeling of a 6 position.

The parts look great and go together well but the buffer tube required some fitting because it did not reach the hole for the buffer retainer. I ended up chucking the buffer tube in my lathe and taking approximately 0.040” off the shoulder to allow it to thread deeper into the lower.
