About Magpul MOE SL-K Carbine Stock MIL-SPEC
A drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15/M4 mil-spec carbine buffer tubes, the SL-K is designed for compact PDW style weapons or users desiring a small and light stock. Features a short and slim profile, a smaller rubber butt-pad with rolled toe for easy shouldering and sure grip, and a 1.25″ footman’s loop with the ability to accept an optional M-LOK QD Sling Mount for push-button style QD sling swivels. A new, unique, ambidextrous release latch minimizes rattle on the receiver extension without requiring additional locks, levers, or springs. Made in U.S.A. Features: Mounts on mil-spec sized carbine receiver extension tube (not included) from manufacturers such as Colt, LMT, Ruger, S&W, SIG, and others Sloping cheek weld combines a slim profile with user comfort Dual-side release latch provides easy adjustment while remaining anti-snag Premium chrome-silicon lock spring provides positive locking and long service life Compact rubber butt-pad offers an anti-slip surface and increases impact protection Rollover on the toe allows for easier shoulder transitions and better fit when using body armor Compatible with Magpul ASAP®, ASAP® QD, and other receiver-mount sling attachments 1.25″ Footman’s Loop for sling mounting, and also accepts the M-LOK QD Sling Mount for push-button sling attachment (sold separately) Specifications: Colors: Black, FDE, Grey, ODG Weight: 7.9 oz. I’m coming from other sopmod stocks that go on and off easy, so putting on for me is lol a 1/8” punch in the retainer pin and use the punch like a T handle to pull down to install. Once it’s on there, it’s on there. I do like the small footprint, the color is awesome (I’d green). For me I wish they would make an extended butpad for it it. There’s an aftermarket one but… read more ymmv. It doesn’t pull my beard hair, but he adjustments for me are super easy from either side, no QD slot but you can upgrade it to the Magpul qd to MLOk… I think if they had the moe instock in of green I would have gotten that. But it looks good and I’m happy with it.

A small stock doesn't look right every time but when you need a small socks this has got to be my very favorite. adjusts smooth and works great.

I like the stock, but don't love it. I have other stocks that I love more. Don't get me wrong, it's well made, sits on the rifle fine, but 2 things, it may be a bit small for a rifle length ....or even mid....but, it will only look small, it will perform BIG. It's comfortable too. So, why did I give it 4 stars? Cause again, the footprint is a bit smaller than i expected....both… read more in looks and on your shoulder....could use a little more contact. But the real reason I gave it 4 stars is because you can't take it off, or put it on your buffer tube without using a nail or punch or something small and skinny to pull the release pin all the way down to put it on or take it off. Really Magpul? Needing a tool to put it on and off? I've got a half dozen other sliding adjustable stocks and not one of them needs a tool to remove or install. Xts, Fab Defense, Trinity, etc...all allow you to pull the release pin all the way down to install or remove. That's my biggest grip for this stock. I'd probably not buy another although i love it's size on my 4" 22LR conversion AR....so that's what it will be going on.

The Moe SL-K from Magpul will be a great addition to a mountain style carbine it locks up solid and provides a great cheek weld. The rubber butt stock keeps it where you mount it while preventing annoying slide out.

The MOE SL-K is a great minimalist stock for the AR platform. It has a great feel, little to no rattle, and a nice rubber buttpad to keep it from sliding. A great stock for the price!

I love these stocks. They fit very snugly on milspec buffer tubes and have an easy, no-wobble adjustment. Great stock all around. Comfortable to shoot and easy to adjust with no play, rattle, etc like most magpul stocks have.

I like this stock. Especially the color contrast. 98% of my rifle is black and the stock is FDE. Great stock works well. Will buy another. Love magpul products.

I haven’t fired the rifle with this stock attached, as of yet. It looks well made, but has a small “footprint” on the shoulder, which doesn’t look like it would be especially comfortable on this 7.62 NATO rifle. It would be great as a high speed, low drag, piece of gear, if compactness is a must, on a 5.56 mm.

3 or 4th one on AR15 platform. Use all rifles for deer and hog control. Chosen this stock because it’s compact and lightweight during night time eradication.

Have multiple builds and builds I’ve made for others with this stock, personally prefer this stock because I think it’s a cross between really good value/price, lightweight, strong, has just the right amount of pressure with mil spec buffer tubes from various brands and I’ve found it doesn’t catch on things in field.
