Product Details The PMAG® 30 AR 300 B GEN M3™ is a purpose-designed magazine for rifles chambered in 300 Blackout®. Since its inception, 300 Blackout shooters have had to use a magazine designed for another cartridge, limiting its ultimate performance and compatibility. One of the nice features of 300 Blackout is the compatibility with 5.56x45mm parts, but with the magazine it is a compromise to do so. Due to the wide variety of projectile weights and profiles potentially decreasing overall reliability, a dedicated 300 Blackout magazine was a logical step for the PMAG line. In addition to the performance gained by a dedicated mag, the PMAG 30 AR 300 B also offers a safer way to feed your 300 Blackout rifle. When using 5.56x45mm mags, the potential to chamber and fire a 300 Blackout round in a 5.56x45mm rifle with catastrophic results requires diligent ammunition management by the shooter. The PMAG 30 AR 300 B’s distinct rib design and smoother upper-half texture provides the shooter a distinct visual and tactile difference from any other PMAG to mitigate dangerous cross-loading issues. Along with optimized 300 Blackout performance, the PMAG 30 AR 300 B brings along all of the GEN M3 features such as our next-generation impact and crush resistant polymer, aggressive front and rear texture, an easily removable slim floor plate, a paint pen dot matrix for marking and identification, and a dust/impact cover. • The PMAG 30 AR 300 B’s distinct rib design and smoother upper-half texture provides the shooter a distinct visual and tactile difference from any other PMAG • Dedicated, purpose-designed magazine for rifles chambered in 300 Blackout • Optimized internal geometry accommodates the wide variety of bullet profiles used in 300 Blackout cartridges • Carries forward the physical & performance features of the rest of the GEN M3 line

As with all Magpul products, I'm totally happy. I used the dot matrix to write in '300' to easily identify the different ammo. Did I need this - no, but I did want the dedicated magazines for the specific rounds. Feeds well and works without problems.

FINALLY got a chance to get to the range to test my 300 blackout. They fed flawlessly, and I didn't have any problems with the supersonic ammo (125 gr Sig V-crown). The subsonic also fed reliably too with Hornady A-Max 208 gr and Seller & Bellot 220 gr. I have other ammo I plan on testing, but there was only so much I could do in the time I had on the range. I had a hard time finding a really good mag for 300 blackout theses mags feed perfect. The people at Magpul industries really took the time to make this magazine the right way and bonus the prices are great. I would highly recommend theses mags.

If you want trouble free feeding of your 300BO rounds, get these mags. .223 mags are different enough to cause issues feeding. Plus, it will make it a lot easier to know what ammo is going into your rifle. Important !

If you are trying to cycle 200gr Subsonic Ammo while still using 5.56 Mags, they won’t cycle properly. These new 300 Blackout Mags solved the problem

I used to use regular 223 mags and had problems with them in my 300 blackouts. I got this mag and haven't had any issues . Should have got these a long time ago.
