About Magpul PRS GEN3 Precision-Adjustable Stock
The PRS GEN3 is a field precision stock for AR-15/M16 and AR-10/SR25 platforms, featuring tool-less length of pull and cheek piece height adjustment. With solid adjustments for length of pull and cheek piece height via aluminum detent knobs, the PRS GEN3 (Precision Rifle/Sniper) stock provides a stable interface and is intended for semi-automatic sniper or varmint type rifles. Offering a nearly universal fit, it is optimized for rifle-length receiver extensions but will also mount to many mil-spec carbine and A5-length tubes. Includes a cant/height-adjustable rubber butt-pad and rotation-limiting QD sling swivel cups as well as M-LOK slots on the bottom for rear monopod mounting. Made in U.S.A. Features: Mounts to rifle-length receiver extension tube without A2 spacer but will also accommodate mil-spec sized M4 Carbine and many A5-length tubes with standard Castle Nuts and End Plates (not included) Enhanced strength butt-plate wit’stands severe impact and recoil up to .50 BMG Rubber butt-pad provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage and is adjustable for both cant and height Machined aluminum LOP and Cheek Piece adjustment knobs with positive locking click detents Steel adjustment shafts finished with Melonite for wear and corrosion resistance All aluminum components finished with MIL-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2 hard anodizing Bottom M-LOK slots provide additional sling mounting possibilities or for attaching 1913 Picatinny rails for use with a monopod Sling Mounts Front/Rear – rotation-limited QD sling swivel mounts (swivels not included) Rear – 1.25″ aluminum sling loop (left-right reversible) NOTE: Due to the wide variety of designs and dimensions of carbine receiver extensions as well as the associated mounting hardware, proper fit cannot be guaranteed. What more can I say?! I ordered this and another Magpul stock for some builds I was doing. Magpul sets the 'bar' for just about everything in accessories! Haven't finished the build to use this stock yet, but it is Magpul, a name that speaks for itself. And it is also one of the most adjustable precision stocks I have seen. It has a good, solid weight to it and the dials both have a good feel to them.

This stock is the perfect addition for that hunting or long range rifle. After adjusting the length-of-pull, and the cheek piece for the best check weld for the scope, the alignment was perfect when thrown to the shoulder.

Overall it was a quality product, comfortable, and well worth the money. They were not kidding when they said its hefty, but I believe it's a good trade off to have for a quality product. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

Great stock for a long range setup

Got this stock for an AR10 Aero Precision M5 build in .308. Stock is incredibly comfortable for a precision rifle build. I had my whole setup custom cerakoted Tungsten grey. The adjustable comb and length of pull works very well. The adjustment knobs are solid and work easily. There is a couple of sling attachment points, QD and a loop. There is also a small MLOK section for mounting… read more a rear mono pod if desired. The rubber butt pad has a good amount of cushion to it, not so much needed for an AR15, but on a 308 it is a nice feature. The only downside there is to the PRS is that it is a bit on the heavy side compared to a minimalist stock. My AR10 weighs in at around 12lbs with 18" barrel, 15" hand guard, and scope.
