I purchased two endomags because I wanted to move away from my mag well adapter. I broke both of them in as instructed. I was surprised to see how much material was removed during this process, but eventually, the BCG cycled manually with little resistance. I then loaded up 5 rounds of Blazer brass 115 FMJ in each mag. I wasn’t able to get a single round to chamber. The feed ramp… read more wasn’t aggressive enough on the mag and it’s plastic. The edge of the brass would catch on the barrel chamber chamfer and the edge would roll, damaging each round beyond use. I was able to get some 147 flat tip to chamber, but only about 8/10. Both mags performed almost identical. I used an Odin barrel and BCG on an AERO M4E upper receiver and perhaps they would work differently with an upper that is loaded with a different BCG / barrel. For me, I’m not a fan and wish that I wouldn’t have spent $80 on these. I’m back to my mag well adapter that cycles perfectly using colt SMG mags until I can find a quality AR9 lower with a California mag lock feature in stock, like the NFA or the JT.

First I was REALLY skeptical of this and any other 9mm adaptors. I bought one to try it out and my experience so far has been great! The “break-in” for the mag (they have a video for it) was fast and simple, if you buy the right upper and barrel you should have no problem with it. DO NOT use these with the barrels that come with a feed ramp (recommended by manufacturer); the… read more mags have integrated feed ramp so you should be ok on most barrels with no feed ramp. Zero malfunction so far after a few hundred rounds, would highly recommend if you’re not getting a dedicated lower.
