These are fantastic takedown /pivot pins! Nicely machined and fits perfectly in different lowers. Much easier to manipulate without having to use a punch or tool. I've got these on several of my builds and I'd recommend them to anyone. Great price too!

Good item for very reasonable price

Price was good and I do really like these. they give you a little more to grab onto when removing your upper from your lower. I like the xtra knob end to pull on rather than having to carefully push from other side and try and get fingernail underneath the edge to pull the others loose. These are great.

Much easier to take down my AR now!

I love the fact that I can just pull on these and pop my AR open now. Much easier (if you grease or oil them especially!) to break down the AR for cleaning or whatever!

Ease of use and dresses up the build.

I use these take down pins on all my ARs. Love them. Bought these SS ones to go with the stainless barrel on the new 6.5 Grendel build. Added a few other stainless extras on the receivers to add to the motif.

Far superior to original equipment.

I viewed a couple of Videos on Youtube and ended up combining techniques from two of them to install the takedown and pivot pins. These two pins are much easier to grasp and make the removal of the upper from the lower simple. A drop of oil on each one and you are good to go.

Easy install

Front was not tricky...start sideways pushing the detent in...slide in! Easy peasy! For the rear you should note you will have to loosen the buffer tube's castle nut and release the spring pressure from the endplate! That trick makes this install a piece of cake!
