Not bad at all...

I ordered (3) sets of these because I wanted to have a couple extra laying around. They are nicely machined and are exactly as advertised! My only issue is that they are definitely a tad more "extended" than I would prefer. I have other extended takedown pins that are just enough to make it easy to takedown, but these are huge, and I probably won't order them again, but that's NOT… read more a ding on there quality, just longer than I prefer.

Just What An AR Needs

After I ordered a couple of sets of these extended Pins and installed them I reordered 6 more sets and installed them on the rest of my rifles. It makes breakdown so much easier I wouldn't own an AR without them and these are made well and fit perfect!! These should be standard LPK pieces.

Hard to move

I thought my mil spec ones were hard to take out, but I purchased these extensions for ease of separation of my upper & lower .. it made it worse .. I’m not sure if I got a bad set or if their just not good quality but the detents lock into the indent sets ... literally had to use a punch to get them back out .. needless to say I put the oem pivot pins back in they were cheap… read more so no harm , I suggest you save your money & purchase a better set , normally I like AR15discounts products, but this one unfortunately was subpar

Great parts. I bought 3 pairs in order to swap out from some of my harder to pull pins and these things are a total God Send! They Work Perfectly For Me So I Don’t Have To Get My Punches Out For Every Little Cleaning But Best of all they are Very well Made and Strong and I Couldn’t Imagine Them EVER failing  I Definitely Would Recommend!

Solid Value, lefty problems

Great takedown pins for the money... unfortunately being a left-handed shooter running an ambidextrous safety it was much more comfortable running a standard rear takedown pin for me.

Easy mode!

It was a little bit hard to use at first but after it got broken in it was easy to use. I installed to my 300 blackout rifle. Nice little upgrade and it’s not too expensive too.

NBS Takedown Pins well worth the money.

I have added these to all my receivers, easy to install, saves me at the range when I have to takedown my AR. Great for cleaning, saves time. They look cool, blending in until I need them.

VG but......

The pins are very good but the detent holes need to be de-burred or chambered. The pin inserts also need to be radiused on the end to allow for easier operations. Required some hand work to work effectively.

If you build a lot of 80% like me you probably find the takedowns are a bit stiff or just a pain in the butt generally. Problem solved!
