Poor quality

This is nothing against ar15discounts, however you get what you pay for. This lip for the retaining pin doesn't line up and the fit is not snug. I might return the buffer tube or just exchange it. This is disappointing.

Solid construction

This thing works great. When I pulled it out of the box I was actually surprised at how thick it was. Very solid. Not thin cheap junk. Mil spec fit very nicely. The finish on it had zero scuffs or blemishes. Packaging was very nice as well. I would recommend this product for the everyday shooter.

Overall, the part does its job. However, when fit with a milspec stock there is ALOT of slop. I have another brand tube with the same milspec stock and it fits very snug, with minimal play.

Exterior finish is the basic matte milspec hard anodize, but the interior is polished before coating, so it's a super smooth glass-like texture. This will definitely quiet the buffer action. Would buy again.
