Nice and clear glass

I bought this as a gift for my wife but have not used it yet. That said, it has very nice and clear glass and robust X-Y adjustment knobs with positive clicks and firm but smooth rotation for the power and focus knobs. I'm expecting it to work very well from based upon other reviews and what I see about it thus far. The scope size is just about right, but the QD riser mount… read more seems a little heavy to me. They also left some epoxy on the front face of the mount that will not come off without a hammer, but it's only a very minor cosmetic issue. Because of this scope's design, I'm not sure you could even switch out that mount for anything else, it's probably also glued to it...

NcStar scopes are great and I found this to be the best price around for what I wanted. Battery life is long and the quick disconnect is solid, unlike some of the others. Locking clip on the release feels crisp so you know it’s where you had it before.

How would I know? I dont know what I might purchase if the whole purpose of an optic is not displayed. What does the reticle look like?

Easy to sight in and has hold 0 so far. I only have about 50 rounds through it but it's held zero so far. The 3 to 9 zoom works perfectly and the quick detach mount is awesome. Great quality for the price. Have it on my AR at the moment but want another one for my Shogun.
