Are you sure your using/have a AR-10 receiver and not a AR-15? That would really explain a sizing problem....

It fits but isn't snug, doesn't lock through the magwell. At least it was pretty cheap and not 100% completely useless. The AR10 can still sit on top but you just can't install anything since it's too wobbly. Might have to add some thickness on one side so the maglock can engage. I don't recommend this item if you actually are looking for a useful viseblock, not even worth the money… read more to send back.

Doesn’t completely function as it should, not a solid lock up, but it will only hold your 10 in place so it can look pretty lol. Moves around to much for anything else. I ended up wrapping a little tape around it to improve it and to minimize the movement.

It worked but too loose. A snug fit would make working on your gun much easier. It also doesn't lo k onto magazine catch like my ar15 block. It was cheap and worked, but if I had more ar10 projects I would find a better one.

Fits the mag well with minimal play. The AR-10 vise block has a flat ledge that supports the lower and only contacts the mag well at the lower edge of the well. This will not affect the usefulness of this item, just an observation and maybe a suggestion to be passed on to the manufacturer to improve the function of the item.

I bought this because I started working in an AR10. It fits in my vice great but when inserted into the mag well of my firearm it fits loose and it’s a little wobbly and doesn’t hold the lower well. All and all it gets the job done but I wish it fit a little better.

This Presma vise block does not work. Everyone knows that the purpose of a vise block is to mount the lower receiver to the block. The lower receiver should lock onto the vice block to secure the receiver to the block. It should act like a mag and release only when the mag release is pressed. I was told that they were sold out and couldn't send me one. And that the best they could do is send me an return authorization and once they received the block they would refund my card. Well that was a few weeks ago and still no return authorization, hence no replacement or refund. So bottom line, save your money and buy a different vice block from another company.

This AR10/308 block Works fine, and is good for the price. It is very solid. Fit to the mag well is a little loose, compared to the AR15 versions I have. Doesn't rock side to side, but does rock fore and aft. The "stop" or "shelf" at the bottom serves several purposes. It provides a register when putting it in the vice, and prevents the bottom of the mag well from coming into contact… read more with the vice. It also serves as a limiter in how far the block goes into the mag well. This prevents the block from pressing up on the bolt release, which is an issue I have had with some of the AR15 blocks.

This item allows you to mount the lower receiver securily into a vise with mar or damage to the receiver itself. This is for a 7.62x51/308 lower and works great.

The castle nut got loose an the buffer plate shifted. The rear take down pin springs flew out. The ar10 vice worked like a charm.

Fits good in the mag well, not too tight or too loose. Set this up quickly in a smaller vice, but would probably use a larger vice for the AR 10.
