Everything came as advertised & promptly waiting on a lower so have not used it yet my only complaint would be that what ever China sport company made the stock might want to use more or better glue on the butt stock pad/ insert but a little loctite super glue fixed'er right on up other than that good product. I have the same stock on a 308.

Total lower parts kit with A2 rifle stock

The build was perfect. All the lower parts fit perfectly. The stock is nice and dark black. I just love the feel and look of the rifle stock. The safety clicks and operates smoothly. The take down pins are just right when sliding it out and in.

Not the best “mil-spec“ kit I’ve seen...

If you are looking for a true mil-spec kit for a retro build, this kit is NOT for you. After contacting AR15Discounts about the issue, it was resolved promptly by them (kudo’s to AR15Discounts). Second, the butt stock looks cheap, the plastic used in the stock’s shell has inconsistencies and the rear butt pad does not seat properly into the stock (see photo). All the… read more other parts in the kit looked to be ok. But due to the issues stated above, I doubt I would ever recommend this kit, much less purchase it again.

What I Expected!

The quality is pretty good, the sheen on the stock is a bit off but it feels like its a quality component. The LPK is 100% mil-spec and everything went together easily.

Ar 15 lower end build kit

One big problem, had to tap and die the safety actuater bolt. The thread didn't match up. After buying a tap and die set went together pretty good.

Built the kit on an Aero Precision lower and added a PSA upper. Everything went together fine and looks good. Rear pivot pin is a bit snug, gonna give it a drop of lube. FAST shipping. Ordered on a Friday and by Monday it had made the trip from California to Tampa.

Nice solid stock. The cleaning kit door is metal and is solid. There are other brands out there that have a plastic door so don't be fooled by their lower quality product.. .....this stock is a great value for the money. Used this on a 204 build and looks nice. The only thing I can see wrong is the bushing on the end rattles a little when put together but fixed with a aluminum spacer or and o-ring.
