Just a really good brace

Pretty easy install. Make sure you have a torx driver on hand (alhough you can fake it with a hex wrench). Back out the screws just enough so you can slide the adjuster mechanism over the buffer tube and retighten. Bada Bing, Bada BOOM.

Best brace out there

I own a variety of PCCs and SBRs. This is by far the best brace for a buffer tube style firearm. It's equally as comfortable on your arm as it is on your shoulder. I own a few SBA3 versions and (in my opinion) the SBA4X is a superior product

Best Brace I’ve Used

Much more sturdy and substabtial than the SBA3 or SBPDW I’ve tried. I donwish the QD sling mount was closer to the rear, but I appreciate the durability more knowing I may not be able to buy replacements indefinitely.

Most Comfortable Pistol Brace

I haven't had a chance to use the brace yet, as I bought it for an FBI Regional Rifle inspired build. However, I own a few SBA3 braces. This brace feels more stable and seems like it offers a better cheek weld than the SBA3. It seems like a really comfortable brace. I'd definitely recommend this product.

The SBA4 is a much more robust and stiffer brace than other SB Tactical braces like the SBA3 or PDW brace. The SBA4 brace is great for a sturdy cheek weld or velcroing it to your arm

Excellent brace

If you already have a standard mil-spec 6 position adjustable buffer tube, you can easily save $40-50 buy buying this. The brace itself is well made and durable. It's great if you want to use it as an actual brace and you can shoulder it (it does the job but a stock is better suited for shouldering).

Great upgrade brace!

Gun was built originally with a Magpul BSL brace. It was light and sleek, but uncomfortable. SBA4 was comfortable and sturdy. Weight was still surprisingly light! Just want I wanted, the only reason its not getting a 5 star review is because it was first shipped from CA to Iowa (where I live) then to Hawaii and back to Iowa......obviously thats not anything anybody did wrong at AR15DISCOUNTS, but it did take a few days for the folks in customer service to get back to me and explain what happened. When You Need A Sturdy Brace

This brace is much sturdier than the SBA3. The high cheek riser is a very nice touch when the target is way out there. Also like the fact that where the brace splits isn’t flimsy as the SBA3. It’s heavier but the trade off is the added stiffness and support.

The SB Tactical SBA4 Brace is an excellent addition to any pistol currently running a bare 6-position to 8-postition buffer tube. With a carbine length, mil-spec, 6-position receiver extension, the length-of-pull from the back of the brace to the front of the trigger bow is just under 13.5 inches (IF you were to incidentally shoulder the brace). This is definitely better than the SBA3. I took her down to South Carolina with me to shoot in the field and it feels a lot more comfortable than most rifle stocks. I would definitely purchase this again for my next rifle which might be a 10.5

Upgrade from SBA3

I got this to upgrade from a SBA3 that came on my 12.5” pistol. The 4 is much more sturdy while having basically the same profile. Didn’t have a noticeable weight increase either.

Definitely recommend this pistol brace.

I wish I could have a normal adjustable stock but the SBA4 is the next best thing. Adjustable and more sturdy than the SBA3 & it too has a QD port. Will buy again.

Not really sure what a pistol brace is designed to do. You certainly can't aim the firearm it's attached to very well when used as intended. It's a good thing I bought this wrench to use as a hammer. It works very well.

I also own the SBA3 Which I really like but the 4 has more material to it which makes it feel more stable. I would recommend the 3 on compact pistols and the 4 on pistols/SBRs in the 10-12” range.
