About SB Tactical SBPDW Pistol Stabilizing Brace - AR - Black - PDW-01-SB
Designed in conjunction with Maxim Defense, the SBPDW Pistol Stabilizing Brace is 3-position adjustable and compatible with mil-spec bolt carrier groups and carbine buffers. Features: 3-postion adjustable Complete assembly, ready-to-install, including a proprietary buffer tube (does not include buffer/spring) Compatible with mil-spec bolt carrier groups and carbine buffers/springs QD attachment point at 6 o’clock position on housing ATF compliant, US veteran designed and proudly made in the USA Product Includes: complete assembly, adjustable nylon strap Additional Information: The end plate and castle nut are integral to the assembly Castle nut wrenches are often steel. The SBPDW buffer tube/castle nut assembly is aluminum. Care must be taken during installation / removal to avoid damaging the nut. SB Tactical SBPDW pistol brace eliminates the need for a buffer tube, back plate, and castle nut in this self-contained unit. Super high-quality hardware, at $199 I decided to give it a try and I'm not disappointed. Incredibly easy to install, only took about 5 minutes. It's actually easier than installing a standard buffer tube system. If you have long arms you'll like how far… read more this brace extends. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't collapse quite as much as a standard brace installed on a buffer tube. It's also a little bit sticky out of the box when you try to remove the brace from the buffer tube. You might have to give it a jiggle and pull hard but it will slide off when pushing in on the tabs from both sides. Not that you'll need to remove the brace from the tube very often, if ever, just a heads up.

Seen a lot of SBPDW braces on the internet and finally pulled the trigger on one. Im really surprised how strong this thing is, pictures cant convey how overbuilt it is

This brace functions well as advertised and looks fantastic. Also is a plus that it simply adapts to your existing mil-spec buffer tube. The main drawback is that one-handed operation is an awkward challenge when one hand is holding the weapon and the other hand is trying to manipulate the lock lever and pull back the brace body at the same time. Would like it more if it had QD's… read more on the sides toward the rear.

In the land of give and take, have and have nots. I stumbled upon this item...the SBPDW stablilizing brace. Space saving soon to be a object of loss and woe. Its robust and study with a hint of outlawedness to boot. The design and materials remind me of the hard work put into an exquisite work of art, it has a sense of incarceration about it. In a world of comics, it would represent… read more batman...the hero we want and need but against the establishment. I feel like this review will be in vain as it (the brace) will soon be a relic of days gone by. Buy the thing before its too late...because there will come a time soon when it won't come back.

I really like the brace, it's pretty sick. Used it on my first 300 blk pistol build. I read and watched reviews before buying it. They all said it would add a good ount of weight. I didn't think it would be super noticeable but picking up my 16" AR compared to the 8" pistol AR I put it on, it's definitely noticeable. But it's a badass brace. Sacrifices lol

Got this brace very quickly from AR15 Discounts and it installed with ZERO issues on my 9MM PCC build. Adjustability is great and fit/finish are excellent. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to minimize size and LOP on their AR-style pistol build. Will buy another for a future build!

This is my first pistol stabilizing brace I've purchased and it is awesome. Its Strong and well made. I have no fear of it breaking or failing when I need it. The only other thing that would make it better would be to make it spring loaded, but that might fail when you need it most.
