About Strike Industries Advanced Receiver Extension (Buffer Tube) for AR-15 / AR-10
The Strike Industries Advanced Receiver extension brings an updated aesthetic and increased functionality to an often neglected, yet highly important component of the AR-15/AR-10 weapon system. The scalloped surfaces decrease friction with tight fitting stocks, and shaves weight while retaining mass in critical stressed areas. Further enhancements include a supported buffer retaining tab that also serves to more easily index your receiver extension. The SI Advanced receiver extension is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum for much greater strength than your standard 6061 tubes. Upgrade your AR and stand out from the pack with the SI Advanced Buffer Tube. GREAT buffer tube the best in the market. Really big color pop. 7 positions. You can't beat it for the price. Absolutely fantastic. Makes your AR look super sexy. Oh and p.s. also order the striker extended castle nut; talk about adding hundreds of dollars of value for a 1/3 of the price.

Ordered the Strike Industries AR15 buffer tube in the red color. It was exactly what I was looking for. Mil-spec design fit perfectly into my Trinity Force Alpha Stock. Definitely would recommend. Strike Industries is pretty consistent with its quality.

Only reason I gave 4 stars was cause the blue appeared to look a little darker but when I received it, It was sorta a sky-ish blue color. Not totally disappointed but just to warn anyone who decides to pick this up.

I have used the SI 7 position buffer tube on my last 4 builds....quality product for a couple extra bucks...SI and dirty bird NT trigger is a great combo....thx bird!

AR15Discounts does it again! As a seller, they are top of the line when it comes to shipping and communicating the status of an order! However, when I received the buffer tube and installed it on my lower, I found that the inner surface of the tube is no where close to smooth. When charging the bolt in the rifle, it sounds horrific. I tested this with a few different buffers I… read more have around and all produced the same result. I plan to rig up some 400 grit sand paper on a wooden dowel rod to attempt to correct this issue. For a near $50 buffer tube, I'd hope it would be drop in ready and am a little disappointed it isn't.
