About Strike Industries AR-10 Shift Pins
The Strike Industries Shift Pins bring yet another innovative solution to the AR-10/LR-308 market. Already keeping the extended grip surface for easy disassembly without a need for a pin punch, the pins are also designed with Quick Detach mechanisms that result in not needing to remove extra parts such as an endplate, castle nut and buffer tube. Simply rotate, and remove the pins as shown below. The nearly tool less design combined with our enhanced detent pins that retain inside the pin spring makes swapping out the pins an almost effortless task. No more launching those darn detents into the abyss. The SI Shift Pin is CNC machined from solid steel for strength, precise fitment, and corrosion resistance. This is a replacement for most AR-10/LR308 takedown/Pivot Pins and fits most forged and billet receivers. Features: Less steps needed to remove pins Textured heads eliminate the need for a pin punch. Great breakdown pin, bad option

Really love how smooth they slide in and out of the recover and I think strike industries design is great but the option to remove the pin from the receiver isn’t that great of an idea. If you happen to turn this pin while pulling it out and it’s on the wrong side, your pin comes out and your detent and possibly spring flies out and if your at the range or in the field and need… read more to break open your weapon this could be a problem. Love the product just don’t understand why you gave it that feature. That’s why I gave it a 4

Great takedown pins! I like how they can be rotated and can be locked in place in one direction. Twist them another way and they can be removed without having to hold the detent down.

The pins work as designed. The finish is pretty good, and they look good in place. Maybe next gen will have an easy way to grab and pull the rear pin - like the front pin is set up.
