About Strike Industries AR Receiver Enhanced Castle Nut with Extended QD Endplate
Yet another first, the Enhanced Castle Nut and Extended End plate combo represent Strike Industries’ dedication to thinking outside the box. The SI Enhanced ECN and EEP stand out from the generic parts kit units in both aesthetics and function. The steel castle nut has been lengthened to match the extended end plate, supporting more of the receiver extension’s threaded area, and improving aesthetics. The extended end plate features a Quick Detach sling swivel mount, pushed back away from the webbing of the primary hand. This allows weapons manipulations in tight spaces and under stress, without the startling pain that can result from a pinched hand when using a sling attached to a standard, flat QD end plate. Required Tools: The castle nut was meant to be installed using an adjustable or fixed spanner wrench. A traditional Ar multitool or wrench can work but may cause damage to the castle nut. Note: Due to dimensional tolerances between some manufacturer’s receiver extension collar lengths and differing amount of true threads on various buffer tubes, some may experience difficulties installing. Package includes: – 1x Enhanced Castle Nut – 1x Enhanced End Plate Features – Aesthetic upgrade – Centrally placed QD for right or left hand sling use – Easy drop in installation -Compared to a standard castle nut and end plate, the fully collapsed position, with most stocks, is eliminated in order to create proper clearance for the QD socket. This castle nut setup is not only attractive and securebut functional and efficient. I love the look on my 300 B.O. add to that the efficient design and you'll find there is little wasted space and energy as placement is intuitive and natural. I like it MORE than I expected I would. Certainly a well thought out product that more than delivers.

I really like the appearance of this nut. Let’s be frank-It looks badass. Prior to purchase I watched several videos about it. Most of them showed an Allen screw to help prevent backing out of castle nut. This product does not have that feature integrated. Furthermore, because the nut is aluminum, it is unable to be staked...so in all really nice finish but doesn’t work for… read more my desired purpose

Looks great on the rifle and covers all the buffer tube threads, but the castle nut came scratched and poorly finished. The end plate was perfect. Luckily, my local gun shop cerakoted the castle nut for free. Now it looks amazing.

Looks great on my AR15. Love the fact u can install take down pin detent & spring after installing the backplate. BEWARE there is a tiny screw that holds detent & spring that comes in the box. Mine was in the slot and not tighten in. So when I pulled it out of the box it fell out onto my carpet. Unless you enjoy being on your knees looking for a tiny screw BE CAREFUL when pulling… read more it out to look/installing it.

Nice looking and I like the set screw for the spring/detent. Had a problem with the nut cracking when tightened in one small little cutout. Sent them a picture. Strike was great and got one out to me within a week or so.
