The SI-XBC Extended bolt catch is a heavy duty, go-fast addition to the SI line of enhanced parts. Under high stress situations, the oversized bolt release lever aides in rapid thumb or palm engagement, even with gloved hands. The lever is reinforced for increased durability and impact resistance. Package include 1 x AR Extended Bolt Catch 1x Bolt Catch Roll pin Features -Mil-Spec bolt catch engagement surfaces function with an mil-spec bolt carrier. -Wide surface area “ping pong paddle” for faster operation. -Solid Investment Cast8620 construction, case hardened. – Widened Bolt Catch lower lever for easier manual locking of BCG to the rear. -Sleek SI Designfitsforged Mil-Spec receivers, and blends well aesthetically with many billet upper and lower receivers.

I have several of these installed. I swapped out the upper with a BCA side charging upper and it would not cycle. I believe it sits a little higher than mil spec. It has worked great for all other uppers i have tried.

It works great & looks good on all weapons but did not fii 7.5 in bear creek upper. It did fit all other standard ARs. Will keep extra as backup..

I love this thing. Very easy to install. Great quality. Does not fit with all uppers, some of the custom ones might not be comoatible. Other than that. Awesome!

The part is well made and finished. It was relatively easy to install, no harder than the original but of course, you need the right tools. It works well. The lower button could stand to be larger but it works well.
