Gap large enough to fit paper between front sight & slide. Didn’t think mounting screw was snug tight yet but head snapped off instead. I’ve read of this happening to others with a variety of manufacturers sights, first time it’s happened to me.

Sights look great, line up with a red dot no problem. But the hardware for the front sight is garbage. Didn't fit, had to take a dremel to it and was finally able to tap it into the side w a armorers hammer. The screw felt like cheap plastic. It was all the way down and still didn't feel secure. I wanted a cowitness setup for my red dot. Most taller sights I had seen look gross and bulky. These really caught my eye. Look great with or without the red dot. Front sight post needed a tickle of filing to fit. Rear was able to push in with hands. Only issue as a few others said...the front screw it no good. I used my old sights screw. Very happy with these.

The sights look tacticool and seem very durable. Just need some tlc with gun oil as they have a rougher phosphate finish. There was a little surface rust or machining residue on them but it cleaned up with a cotton swab. They should have come clean and greased from the factory though. My one reservation is that both the front and rear sight required a lot of fitting. I expected… read more some fitting due to differing sizing and tolerance specs from manufacturers. On my Aim Surplus 3S slide, I needed to remove material from all around the front sight base until the finish was gone. The rear sight had to have a lot of material (several thousandths) removed from the sight dovetail to fit my Alpha Shooting Sports and Aim slides. And that is with also removing a few thousandths from the slide dovetail. That was a long process with a diamond file. The Strike sights seem to be oversized in regards to tolerances. If you don't mind fitting your sights, these are a great value.

Front sight didn't fit the slide at all. After taking a dremel to it, I was finally able to tap it in with a hammer. After all that, the sight screw crumbled half way through installing it. After doing some research, this is an ongoing problem with their sights.
Decent budget sights

Front post was super tight. And the finish makes them look like they were dropped in the mud and let dry. Not a big deal but if you’re looking for a clean build. I’d look elsewhere. If not, they’re still decent sights for the money.

I never thought blackout sights would be affective but after using these in conjunction with my RDS. No fighting dots in the screen. Go get you some.
