Strike Industries MOD-1 Stock (Black, FDE, Red, Blue) Review

Too small

This thing is cool I guess but way too small for me. Feels like a little jackhammer punching my front delts when I fire. The magpul MOE stock is better and cheaper. I’m not gonna send it back or anything. I’ll just save it for some other build. I know it’s not for an AR pistol (cause it’s a stock) but it would be perfect for a shorty

Great looking on My AR

This is a nice looking stock but You have to order the rubber end plate seperately. I was also a little disappointed that it doesn`t fit as tight as I would have like to see on a Strike Industries buffer tube. It has a little wobble. It looks very nice but next time I would probably choose something a little better

Happy Camper

I looked around a bit before I was able to find this item in stock and under retail price. Looks great installed and with the butt pad added it functions as I’d hoped it would. The design allows for quick transitions. I SI had included the butt pad with the stock.. but not a major problem for me. Kudos to ARdiscounts for a great price and super fast shipping.

I like the futuristic look and features of this buttstock. But if they can make the area of the shoulder pad a little bit bigger, then this product will be perfect. But there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this buttstock.

The good and the bad

Good. Very solid. Does not feel cheap at all. Qd points on both sides is nice. Very light. Bad. Butt pad is plastic not rubber so it slides a bit more in the pocket. My preference is rubber. Has a slight rock in locked position. Very slight though. Thought it would be taller. A nice product just a few pros and cons. Also consider the MFT minimalist. Looks great

Installed it on my PSA lower. The one the lower came with was nice and tight. This one is a little wobbly and loose. Not a tight fit. I bought it for the looks and nothing more. It does what I intended it to.

Form Function & Fit

The form and design of this stock look totally awesome!! The Functionality is smooth and it has a solid lock in place. Only draw back is that it has a small bit of movement. Tolerances for a snugger fit should be tighter. Also as a side note, would be nice to have the rubber back piece in stock so customers don’t have to wait to enjoy both pieces together.

Strike Ind Mod 1 Stock

It’s a good product and really like anything from Strike. It was too tight on the mil spec tube I planned it for but swapped it with another and it works great. Looks better than the old butt stocks. Haven’t fired it yet but the slanted pad seems to be a better design as well.

A very nice and comfortable stock

Its a great stock, easy to swap out and feels 10x more comfortable that the factory stock. Definitely should be sold with the rubber boot though, making it so you have to buy it separately just feels like penny pinching.

Great value

This item had a awesome price. A little tight for adjustment but is better then having noisey slop like some other stocks. It has the rubberized pad in back for grip and shock absorption. It works great with the imlock quick detach 2 point sling also. I will definitely be buying more of these and these only. Thank you for a great product at a great price guys.

Great alternative to the moe

tight fit on the buffer tube. QD cup is in the correct place. My only concern is that the QD cup looks like anodized aluminum, so I expect the steel insert on my slings to tear it up in short order.

Nice but...

The stock is on a Strike Industries advanced extension tube. It looks very nice but the stock itself is really loose. When I put it on my stock buffer tube it was a nice and tight fit. Overall it looks great.

Amazing stock
