Nice stock, but no sling attachment....

Living in NY, I need a fixed stock to satisfy the requirements of the "SafeAct". This stock, while fixed, is able to be set to different lengths during installation, according to your preferred trigger pull length. It is sturdy in build and design, and does not move during use. My only complaint would be that it has no QD connection point, or any sling connection for that matter.… read more Instead, it has a pin and cut out at the heel, like an A2 fixed rifle stock, but no connecting hardware is supplied. I picked up a Grovtec, (GTHM255), push button swivel adaptor for A2 stocks, but it needs to be modified because the cut out in the stock is oversized, and it has too much room to move around. An integral QD socket would be a better solution.

Bought this because it says Fixed stock, turns out it's to convert a adjustable stock to a fixed stock (not sure why you would want that) So for me it's pretty much useless. But it seems to be a quality built part!

Great stock for the money

This stock was perfect for what I was building. I was able to achieve the look of an A2 skeleton stock without having to change my buffer tube and buffer from the current mil spec carbine tube. I save a ton of money going this route and it looks great.

The spacers that adjust the length of pull are very tight on the adjustment rail of the buffer. Used a small hammer to position them. The bracket that fits into an adjustment hole has a drilled and tapped hole for the screw that holds the main part of the stock on and tight. That hole is not tapped all the way through which means that the long screw that holds the main part on cannot… read more be tightened.

Replaced my collapsible stock (illegal in NJ) with this one - much more solid than the original one, comfortable, good but plate - very happy with my purchase. Would most probably replace my original stock with this one even if I could use original one in NJ.

Perfect for restricted states

I can’t have an adjustable stock in my state. This is the answer. I test the length until i like it, set it, without having to pay for it, then take to a shop to pay to get pinned lol.

Not really sure about it

Bought the stock and it did not fit on my buffer tube so I bought another and it would not fit that 1 either. So I purchased another buffer tube and it finally fit on that one. It said it would fit on any Mil spec buffer tube so not sure what the deal was.

Shipping: Ordered on Friday. Items were delivered on Monday. This was the standard shipping option, so no complaints. Product: Install was easy after watching the SI YouTube video. There is very little to no wiggle once installed on an Aero Precision carbine buffer tube. Work great, one or two minor issues, but still recommeded

This stock was exactly what was looking for, for my second AR build and it works exactly as I had hoped. Two minor issues I had were the lack of instructions, though it was easy enough to figure out how to install it, and the second issue was a minor clearance issue with the charging handle, also an easy fix. Would definitely recommend this product.

The perfect lightweight aesthetic buttstock

This thing is really lightweight and robust. It gives any rifle a more modern and simple look. Very simple to install. Though I would advise most people to get the fatter padding for this buttstock for a very comfortable experience when shouldering this thing.....another brilliant product from strike industries. ?
